The pumps are on at the Little McDonald Kerbs Paul pump station, and the lake is dropping about one inch per week. The contractor is currently completing the final portion of the project, which involves the connections to Rusch Lake and Paul Lake.

The precast concrete wet well at the pump house site was installed, then backfilled and sealed for winter. In addition, portions of the forcemain, intake pipe and backwash line were installed. Construction contracts are signed and contractors have started. The site for the pump station is cleared and they will be starting de-watering operations. The bid letting for the project was held on October 3, 2017 and construction is expected to begin in late October with an expected completion date of August 2018.
