Mission, Vision, Values and Culture

Mission

Improving lives by building strong communities.

Vision

Outperform expectations through empowered employees who build trusting relationships and create solutions.

Values

We are a family who believes in:

Respect

We honor our coworkers, appreciate different cultures and value all viewpoints.

Integrity

We remain consistent and honest, and uphold our obligation to the health, safety and welfare of the people at the center of our work.

Accountability

We take responsibility for our actions and every commitment we make… every day.

Loyalty

We are dependable and faithful. Our relationships are built on earned mutual trust.

Kindness

We care for each other and strive to enhance the human condition for our coworkers, friends, family, and communities.

Putting our values into action

As a 100% employee-owned ESOP, our shared values guide each of us as we strive to deliver positive results for the clients and communities we serve.

Culture

The Moore community stays strong by providing employees with opportunities for personal and professional satisfaction and growth. We believe a workplace should be fun, supportive, energizing, productive and results-driven. These attributes flow from being an employee-owned ESOP company.

Building Community

through Fellowship

Moore employees love working together to build community, both inside and outside our walls, in addition to working on projects that truly makes a difference.

Just a few examples…

In West Fargo, we build a float every year for the community’s Holiday Lights Parade (several first-place finishes) and compete in the Chamber’s Corporate Cup.

In Minot, we plant trees to beautify the community and build an ice bar for an open house.

We deliver Meals on Wheels, host blood drives, organize an employee Meat-n-Skeet in the fall, compete in annual company golf outings and celebrate ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) Month throughout October.

Work That Matters

Because we’re an employee-owned ESOP company, we are all owners and responsible for our success. As a result, we hold each other accountable to do the right work for the right reasons. We are professional engineers and land surveyors, and we take that responsibility very seriously.

Our projects – water treatment, flood control, sewer, streets, GIS, drone inspections and more – sustain the conditions that make communities strong and vibrant. Our community-centric project management relies on innovative solutions from every member of the team to make budgets manageable and build consensus among stakeholders.

We are invested in this region’s success and work with hundreds of municipalities, counties, water resource districts, developers, campuses, and private citizens to help it thrive.

Giving Back

Moore Engineering has a passion for giving back – to our employees and our communities. With Kindness as one of our values, we are committed to doing what we can to lend a hand to those in need and support community-building initiatives across the region.

For employees, we sponsor sports teams and financially support charitable organizations that they lead. Employees have a voice in corporate donations and we provide time for volunteer activities and leadership positions in charitable and professional organizations.

Professionally, we strive to sustain Moore’s growth so we can create leadership and growth opportunities for employees. We want employees to be able to match their passions with the company’s needs as much as possible. And we believe in rewarding employees for good work and having them share in the company’s success.

More Like
a Family

“It’s more like a family.” That’s how Moore employees continually describe their experience working here. We care about each other and the work we do. We know we have something special happening here, and we work hard every day to share that with our clients.
