See you at North Dakota League of Cities
For nearly 60 years, Moore Engineering has been improving lives by building strong communities.
The North Dakota League of Cities Annual Conference – slated for September 15-17 at the Bismarck Ramkota Hotel – is a great spot to share the information we’ve found and learn what others are doing to better our communities. Where else do you find a large group of city leaders coming together to share ideas, learn more about best practices and discuss issues affecting our communities?
This conference has become one of the best opportunities to connect with current and future clients and talk about what they’re seeing in their communities. We try hard to monitor the changes North Dakota communities are seeing. We want to help improve your city. We want to help create smooth transitions. And, we know that projects focused on sustainability backed with strong, efficient funding programs are the best way to make your city strong, viable and competitive to meet the needs of your residents.
This year I’m looking forward to hearing Moore’s Municipal Administration Specialist, Jim Brownlee, present on Wednesday with our client, the City of West Fargo. They will be discussing how to set up tax increment financing (TIF) districts. TIF districts are a great economic development tool. Cities can fund projects with no cash outlays from city funds. The presentation will be of great interest to planning and zoning committees, mayors and other elected officials.
Come see us at our booth. Jim and I, along with others on the Moore Engineering team, will be there, ready to talk planning, zoning, engineering approaches, infrastructure and funding… or whatever else you have on your mind.
Can’t make it? Give us a call. We love talking about your future.
