New England, N.D. – Water and Sewer System Replacement, Phase 2 – 9-9-16 Update
Construction crews began removing and replacing sanitary sewer main on 3rd Avenue East to begin the project. They plan to complete the sanitary sewer replacement first, then install the water main, then the storm sewer main along 3rd Avenue East.
More construction crews will come to town in the next couple weeks to push the project as quickly as possible. Once they arrive, they will likely start at the intersection of 7th Street and Main Avenue, where there is a large amount of underground utilities to be replaced.
