Welcome Summer 2023 Interns! (Part 3)
Welcome to the third and final installment of our series introducing you to the best and brightest students from around the country who have joined Moore Engineering’s 2023 summer internship program in our North Dakota and Minnesota offices.
This summer’s cohort of interns is already hard at work! At Moore, internships aren’t for coffee runs; they’re an opportunity for students to get hands-on experience in the engineering field.
Welcome Summer 2023 interns!
Ben Roehl
Construction Engineering Intern

Ben Roehl, hailing from Milaca, Minnesota, is joining Moore Engineering as a Construction Engineering Intern in our West Fargo office. Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering at NDSU, Ben is no stranger to Moore Engineering, as he previously interned with us in 2022. Excited to continue his journey with Moore, Ben was drawn to the company to further explore the realm of municipal engineering. His dedication and enthusiasm for the field make him a valuable addition to our team. Welcome back, Ben, and we look forward to another productive summer together at Moore Engineering!
Riley Pederson
Construction Engineering Intern

Riley Pederson is from Tioga, North Dakota, and has long had the dream to become a Civil Engineer. She plans to attend the University of North Dakota to pursue her degree. Riley has a clear goal to join Moore Engineering full-time when she graduates. As a Construction engineering intern based in our Bismarck, ND office, she is well on her way to achieving her objective!
Joe Kroohn
Construction Engineering Intern

Joe Kroohn joins the Moore Engineering team as a Construction Engineering Intern based in our West Fargo office. Joe is from Woodbury, MN, and is pursuing his degree in Civil Engineering at NDSU (Go Bison).
Joe was drawn to Moore Engineering for the opportunity to gain experience in different sub-fields of civil engineering. He’ll have ample opportunity to learn from members in all four of our sectors: Municipal, Transporation, Environmental, and Water Resources. He also had a positive impression of Moore from his friend and Graduate Engineer in Moore’s Municipal sector, Peyton Beyerle.
We are excited to have Joe Kroohn on board and look forward to working with him on various projects this summer!
