Veterans Memorial Pool Replacement

CHALLENGE

The project included demolishing and replacing an existing outdoor pool facility with a new facility and amenities. The existing outdoor pool facility had two separate pools, one small zero entry pool for young children and a larger pool that had a diving board and varied in depth from 3.5’ to 9.5’. The new pool would have an improved shower facility, one large pool with zero entry and large water slide. Additionally, the existing sanitary sewer service was not property graded which would have caused issues for draining of the new pool.

SOLUTION

Moore Engineering worked with various consultants to design a new outdoor pool facility to meet the needs of the Owner. Moore Engineering provided preliminary engineering, drawings & specifications and construction engineering for the project.

OUTCOME

The result was a successful reconstruction of the outdoor pool facility that continues to be a popular summer attraction by the community.
