Hector Water Treatment Plant 10/20/15 Update

The contractor has bypassed the water treatment plant to allow work on the gravity filter. Work on the filter and high service pump replacement has begun. The contractor has sandblasted the old paint, cleaned the filters and disposed of old filter media. The new underdrain and interior components of the filter have been installed. The contractor is preparing the exterior of the filter for painting. The old high service pumps are being removed for the installation of replacement pumps.
