
Zach Thoma Receives Young Professional of the Year Award

Today, we’re excited to announce that Zach Thoma, a Professional Engineer in Moore Engineering’s Civil Sector, has been honored with the Young Professional of the Year Award by the Bemidji Area Chamber of Commerce. The award is a testament to the exceptional contribution and service that he has provided to communities throughout the upper Midwest.
Strong Foundations
Zach’s journey in engineering began at the University of North Dakota, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. His academic background was a solid foundation and stepping stone to a bright and successful engineering career.
In 2021, Zach joined Moore Engineering bringing four years of valuable experience from previous engineering firms. Over the years, he has gained experience in a wide range of engineering disciplines, including municipal, recreation, aviation, and transportation projects. This diverse experience has given Zach a unique perspective on engineering, allowing him to approach projects holistically and never wavering from Moore Engineering’s mission of “improving lives by building strong communities.”
