Matt Welle promoted to Strategic Account Lead
Matt Welle, PE, was recently promoted to Strategic Account Lead in Moore Engineering’s West Fargo office. Matt’s new position charges him with developing and leading Moore’s relationship with key accounts.
Years of Leadership and Key Partnerships
In his 15th year at Moore, Matt has spent the past few years leading our relationship with the City of West Fargo, the state’s fastest-growing city. Our special partnership with the City of West began in 1963, and Matt’s leadership has allowed it to continue to flourish. He has also worked closely with the West Fargo Park District and many local developers, ensuring a strong and collaborative community presence.
Significant Projects
Matt has shepherded many significant projects in the city, including the improvement and beautification of Sheyenne Street in the historic downtown Yards District and the creation and extension of many residential developments such as River’s Bend, Shadow Wood, Shadow Creek, and The Wilds. Additional notable projects under his oversight include Costco, Rustad Recreation, and Shanley’s new turf field and track.
Expertise in Land and Site Development
Growing up in the family construction business, Matt specializes in land and site development, lending his expertise to residential and commercial developments. In his new role, he will continue to focus on understanding the unique needs of key clients and serve as the point of contact for Moore’s expansive services.
A Fargo native and graduate of Shanley High School, St. John’s University, and the University of Minnesota, after living in Lake Tahoe for a few years, Matt has returned to his roots in Fargo with his wife and three active boys.
