MicroStation CADD Technician

The MicroStation CADD Technician supports their assigned group by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Works under department supervision to prepare finished drawings from sketches, notes, layouts, details, and verbal instructions for one operator projects
  • Analyzes sketches, notes, and other input material to determine and plan the best approach to develop and complete the drawings
  • Completes project work assigned by Group Leader
  • Maintains accuracy and quality while adhering to the project schedule
  • Preforms as a CADD project coordinator on projects with more than one operator, when indicated
  • Provides assistance to less experienced technicians to help them resolve difficult operating tasks or drawing production problems
  • Preforms in a designer capacity involving their discipline, when indicated
  • Follows company design standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field
  • Work experience in Civil Engineering or related field preferred
  • Proficient in MicroStation
  • Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D Software is a plus, but not required
  • Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
